What can you expect?
In the “FLEX – Flexible Architecture Models” module, you will encounter practical approaches for designing modern architectures such as microservices and self-contained systems. You will learn to develop, integrate, and operate systems that are flexible, scalable, and efficient. The goal is to create sustainable solutions for complex requirements.
Prerequisites for Participants
➤ You should have basic knowledge of architecture description from the CPSA-F (e.g., views, concepts, design decisions).
➤ Experience in the development and architecture of both traditional and agile systems is required.
➤ Knowledge about the challenges of distributed systems, such as communication, coupling, and isolation, is helpful.
➤ Initial experience with modularization concepts and deployment processes will make it easier to get started.
➤ Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and automation is beneficial.
Technical Requirements
There are no specific requirements for the training environment, as the exercises use cloud- and web-based tools such as Miro, Draw.io, and platforms like Jupyter or HuggingFace. A stable and sufficiently fast internet connection is all that is required.
