Software Architects and IT Teams

The iSAQB Foundation Level software architecture training is a compact foundational course for software architects, developers, and all IT professionals involved in software projects.

The training provides a comprehensive introduction to the purpose and role of software architecture and explains the key methods, techniques, and tools used in professional software architecture.

Participants develop a shared technical vocabulary and gain the knowledge required to design and document architectures for small and medium-sized systems.

By the end of the software architecture training, you will have the skills needed to make problem-specific design decisions based on your existing practical experience. More detailed information about the training content can be found below in the iSAQB curriculum.

Practical, Compact, and Certified

The training toward becoming a certified software architect is complemented by practical exercises.

After completing the training, you can take the CPSA-F examination. If you pass, you will receive the official iSAQB certificate and earn the title “Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Foundation Level”.

Optional: UML Refresher (available with 4 or more participants)

The Unified Modeling Language, or UML, is an essential tool for software architects. If you have not used UML much recently, a refresher on the day before the CPSA Foundation Training can be a useful preparation.
