This iSAQB-certified software architecture training course teaches you how to design and evolve software systems and architectures using agile methods such as Scrum and Lean. You will learn how to apply agile software development principles to architecture work and seamlessly integrate architecture practices into agile processes.

Agile Architecture Work in Practice

Through practical examples, you will discover that agility and architecture are not contradictory. Instead, they complement each other through clear objectives and effective teamwork.

Upon successfully completing the AGILA training course, you will receive an official iSAQB certificate of attendance, along with 20 methodological and 10 communication credit points toward your CPSA-A certification.

What Can You Expect?

The "AGILA – Agile Software Architecture" module offers practical training in applying agile principles to architecture work, working iteratively, and making effective decisions.

You will deepen your understanding of collaboration with stakeholders and teams, strengthen your communication and reflection skills, and gain valuable insights from real-world examples.

Participant Prerequisites

  • Practical experience designing and developing small to medium-sized software systems.
  • Basic knowledge of architectural decisions and their documentation and communication.
  • Ideally, experience with agile software projects and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of identifying and prioritizing architecture requirements and working with stakeholders.
  • Initial experience with automated software integration, testing, and delivery.

Technical Requirements

There are no special requirements for the training environment, as exercises use cloud-based and web-based tools such as Miro, Draw.io, and platforms such as Jupyter or Hugging Face. All you need is a stable and sufficiently fast internet connection.
