Requirements Engineering, Software Architecture, Project Management

Experience and qualifications
Max brings more than 20 years of experience as a requirements engineer, software architect, and project manager.
As an iSAQB-accredited trainer for the Advanced Level module REQ4ARC as well as the CPSA Foundation Level,
he combines methodological depth with real project experience — creating training sessions that have an immediate impact in practice.
Having worked on a wide range of IT projects across diverse industries, Max knows both the common pitfalls and the key success factors.
For this reason, he does not apply methods “by the book,” but in a targeted and customer-oriented way:
for every project setup, he works with participants to develop an approach that fits the specific context and delivers results.
His particular expertise lies in eliciting and specifying functional and non-functional requirements,
as well as defining and modeling processes and architectures.
For him, it’s not only about clean documentation — it’s about clarity, decision-making capability, and reliable outcomes.
Personal Philosophy
For Max, understanding goals and processes is the foundation for developing successful products.
Every project is different — which is why a successful approach always requires methods adapted to the specific situation.
Agility works: agile practices help create future‑proof and widely accepted products while enabling teams to respond effectively to changing requirements.
Mastery of complex systems comes from understanding the fundamentals, how things work, and how they depend on one another —
combined with the mindset that perfection is achieved when there is nothing left to remove.
Key Achievements
Max has successfully supported and delivered numerous IT projects — from requirements elicitation to architectural work
and implementation in day‑to‑day project operations.
In trainings, workshops, and coaching sessions, he teaches methods and techniques in a way that enables participants to apply them immediately.
He has also repeatedly worked with participants in training and coaching formats to develop approaches, methods, and processes
specifically tailored to their organization and challenges.
Personal style
Max designs his trainings to be interactive, developing content together with participants through conversation —
practical, understandable, and with a clear focus on real‑world value. He explains complex topics using accessible,
practice‑oriented examples in a technology‑agnostic way, ensuring that the concepts can be applied within any organizational
toolstack. Max consistently places the focus on the desired outcome: together with the participants, he first clarifies
what exactly needs to be achieved. Based on this, he derives how processes must be structured to pursue a clear goal —
and how systems can best support that goal. As a result, his trainings not only create “aha” moments but also deliver
actionable approaches that work in real project environments.
