Docker & Kubernetes

Implement cloud-native architectures with Docker and Kubernetes in a structured way and operate them efficiently

Format: On-site and online training

Duration: 3 days

Implement cloud-native architectures with Docker and Kubernetes in a structured way and operate them efficiently

The 3-day training combines solid technological knowledge with practical exercises and concrete application scenarios. Participants learn how to efficiently deploy containerized applications with Docker and operate them with Kubernetes in a stable, scalable, and maintainable way. The focus lies on the architectural perspective: How can modern container platforms be designed to meet the requirements for operations, security, automation, and continuous evolution? Using practical examples, the training demonstrates how Docker and Kubernetes can be meaningfully integrated into existing system landscapes and used to build robust, future-ready platforms. After completing the course, participants will be able to accurately assess container-based architectures, apply key concepts confidently, and make well-founded technical decisions in the context of scalability, resilience, and operational readiness.

What can you expect?

In the Docker & Kubernetes training, you will acquire practical knowledge to deploy containerized applications in a structured way and operate modern platforms reliably. You will learn how Docker and Kubernetes work together and how to design container-based architectures so that they meet the requirements for scalability, security, maintainability, and automation. The focus is on a solid understanding of key concepts as well as their application in realistic scenarios, enabling you to confidently place Docker and Kubernetes within existing system landscapes and use them productively.

Your benefits at a glance

E

Practice-oriented content: Real examples and practical exercises are the focus.

E

Cutting-edge concepts: Comprehensive knowledge of current trends and technologies is provided.

E

Efficient integration: Development of hybrid systems that optimally combine machine learning with classical software methods.

Technical Requirements

There are no specific requirements for the training environment, as the exercises are conducted using cloud- and web-based tools such as Miro, Draw.io, and platforms like Jupyter or HuggingFace. A stable and sufficiently fast internet connection is all that is needed.

Prerequisites for Participants

The training is aimed at participants with a basic technical understanding of software development, system operations, or architecture. Initial experience with Linux, the command line, YAML, and modern deployment scenarios is helpful. Exposure to containers or cloud‑native environments is an advantage but not strictly required.
